Awards

2017:

We won 2 gold medals for our Caramelised Fig & Marsala and our Mascarpone & Lemon Gelato plus several silver and bronze medals at The Sydney Royal Easter Show.

2016:

We took out the two top prizes for gelato in The Sydney Royal Easter Show:

CHAMPION GELATO for our Chocolate Jaffa
CHAMPION SORBET for our Stewed Plums with Cinnamon & Cloves

Plus many other gold, silver & bronze medals.

2015:

We entered 25 flavours in the Royal Queensland Food & wine Show and won 24 medals including 13 out of the 14 total awarded in the low fat category.

Our First Competition:

In May 2012, we entered 15 flavours into competition at The Royal Queensland Food & Wine Show (a national competition).
We won the top prize as well as winning medals for all of the 15 entries.

The judges comments on our winning entry  (Stewed Plum with Cinnamon & Cloves):

The sorbet with cinnamon and cloves from The Bellingen Gelato Bar in NSW was crowned Grand Champion ahead of 171 ice creams and sorbet entries from across Australia…
